Last week our owners Phil Fanning & his wife Claire, hosted a very successful celebratory Relaunch Party & Champagne reception to welcome guests, business associates, press and local celebrities to the newly refurbished restaurant.
Champagne flowed and guests, including local celebrities Candice Brown from Great British Bake Off, actor and author Robert Daws and actress Amy Robbins, enjoyed a selection of canapés including steamed prawn buns with hoisin mayonnaise, charred mackerel with apple, yuzu and rye and compressed cucumber with moutabel, black garlic and pine nuts.
All guests were welcomed into the kitchens to experience what goes on behind the scenes and were invited to make their own desert of Mandarin trifle with Japanese peach, sake jelly, black bean and chocolate ganache under the watchful eye of chefs Carl Dumbleton and Ben Hyman. Our Restaurant Manager Jarek Krausewicz ran a wine tasting class and waitress Georgina Lloyd ran a cocktail making masterclass – both proved very popular.
Phil bought Paris House with his wife Claire in 2013 and, following three successful years of business growth, has reinvested to bring the restaurant up to date and delight customers even further. As well as a brand new restaurant, the party celebrated the launch of the new Spring Menus, available until 25 June 2017 when they will be replaced with the summer menus. Prices start at £43 per person for a 6 course lunch. Click here to find out more.
